About the work
Temporary State is an unprecedented multiple by Rodrigo Sassi, a special edition with a print run of 20 sculptures in cement and metal, developed to make the artist's book project viable. Known for his public sculptures and enormous installations, Sassi presents here, for the first time, a work that condenses the sinuosity present in his works within reach: the cement pieces can be manipulated, crossed by a metal axis, resulting in a range of configuration possibilities. Temporary State expresses notions of movement, flow and transformation, recurrent in Sassi's research, while at the same time introducing a playful dimension to his work.
